John Carlos Philippe Garcia
Autobiography of John Carlos Philippe M. Garcia
My name is John Carlos Philippe M. Garcia. I was born on June 28, 2009, in Dagupan, Pangasinan, Philippines. I grew up in a household built on empathy, legacy, glory, and hard work. These values were not just lessons taught to me but examples I witnessed daily, and they continue to shape the way I live and the person I strive to become.
My education began at Oakridge, where I spent ten formative years. It was there that I first learned the meaning of discipline, patience, and responsibility. Those years built the foundation of my character, teaching me that success comes not from shortcuts but from persistence and effort.
Today, I continue my studies at Kingfisher School of Business and Finance, under the Humanities and Social Sciences strand. HUMSS has given me the opportunity to refine skills that go beyond academics—critical thinking, communication, resilience, and empathy. These qualities prepare me not just for my future profession but for a life of service, whether in uniform or through another calling.
I have always been drawn to the military. Its values of discipline, loyalty, and sacrifice resonate deeply with me. To serve and protect is a dream I hold close, one that drives me to push myself further. At the same time, I also carry with me the desire to help people in another way—by supporting them in their mental and emotional battles. If I do not find my path in the military or police, I hope to become someone who can guide others through their struggles, offering them strength when they feel most vulnerable.
I am not the kind of person who speaks loudly about my goals. I was raised to be reserved, to listen carefully, and to choose my words with thought. But even in silence, I carry determination. My vision is clear: to live a life defined by service, to uphold the legacy of my family, and to stay true to the values that were entrusted to me.
My story is still being written. I am at the beginning, with much ahead of me. But every step I take—grounded in empathy, strengthened by hard work, and guided by discipline—brings me closer to the man I aim to become: someone who serves with integrity, who protects with honor, and who never forgets the humanity at the heart of it all.
